Central Music Square – new Warsaw's Open-Air Festival

Central Music Square is a new, open-air festival that will transform Warsaw's city center into an open-air stage for classical music, opera, and musicals this summer. For almost three weeks, from June 19th to July 7th, the capital's most important musical institutions and world-class artists will gather in front of the Palace of Culture and Science.

The National Philharmonic, Sinfonia Varsovia, the Polish Royal Opera, the Warsaw Chamber Opera, the ROMA Musical Theatre, the Syrena Theatre, the Jan Kiepura Mazovian Musical Theatre, the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music are collaborating to create a program that combines diverse musical forms – from major operas and symphonic concerts to musicals and recitals.

Outstanding world-class artists will perform on stage, including: Lang, Kate Liu, Sonya Yoncheva, Joyce DiDonato, Jonathan Tetelman, and George Gagnidze, as well as distinguished conductors including Antoni Wit, Krzysztof Urbański, and Bassem Akiki.
