The best film festivals have now become a permanent fixture in Warsaw's autumn calendar. Their programmes will delight film lovers from all over the world.
The 42nd Warsaw Film Festival – one of Europe’s most highly regarded film festivals – will take place from 9 to 18 October 2026. Over the course of the festival, there will be more than 330 screenings, with audiences set to see over 120 feature-length films and more than 50 short films. Over 80 of the films screened will have their world, international or regional premieres in Warsaw. The festival will also feature meetings with filmmakers and industry events (Warsaw Industry Days).
The TAURON Young Horizons International Film Festival begins on 25 September. The programme features the most interesting animated films, live-action films and documentaries from around the world, aimed at young children and teenagers.

– 28th Warsaw Jewish Film Festival ‘Kamera Dawida’ (2–8 November);
– 11th Ukraine! Film Festival (2–15 November);
– 20th ‘Five Flavours’ Asian Film Festival (10–17 November – cinema edition; 10 November–6 December – online edition);
– 21st African Film Festival (23–29 November);
– 20th Witold Kon Grand OFF Festival – The World’s Best Independent Short Films (30 November–7 December);
– 26th WATCH DOCS International Film Festival (4–13 December).
The festivals are co-funded by the City of Warsaw.
