null File your PIT in Warsaw – a chance to win a prize and a way to support the city
Filing a PIT return is every citizen’s duty, but doing so in your place of residence brings tangible benefits to the local community.
By filing their returns in Warsaw, residents directly contribute to increasing the city’s budget. This enables investment in new trams, buses, cycle paths and the modernisation of urban infrastructure. A larger budget also means more funds for the development of education, culture and healthcare.
Thanks to increased tax revenue, the city can fund support programmes for the elderly, people with disabilities and families in difficult life circumstances.
People filing their PIT returns in the capital can use the Warsaw Resident Card, which offers discounts on public transport tickets and access to a wide range of cultural and sporting activities. These are real savings and additional benefits.
To further encourage residents to file their PIT returns in Warsaw, the city is organising the PIT lottery for the fourth time. All you need to do is indicate Warsaw as your place of residence on your tax return and complete the entry form at https://placpitwwarszawie.pl by 30 June.
This year’s lottery features a record prize pool, with the following prizes awaiting participants:
– a Fiat 500 electric car,
– 100 bicycles,
– 700 ZTM travel cards.
