The Sinfonia Varsovia – "New Opening Festival" is taking place from September 11 to 27, 2026.
To mark the completion of the modernization of three historic buildings within the Sinfonia Varsovia complex at 272 Grochowska Street, the orchestra invites you to two weekends packed with concerts in mid-September, the first of which will be free, semi-open-air performances in a concert tent on the premises.
Come, see, hear—the Sinfonia Varsovia festival is guided by three core ideas: music, space, and people. The events invite you to experience music and other art forms together in newly revitalized spaces, fostering a spirit of openness and the intermingling of disciplines.
At the end of September, the orchestra invites you to the week-long "Mad About Music festival". After years of being hosted at the Teatr Wielki (Grand Theatre) – Polish National Opera, "Mad About Music" moves to Sinfonia Varsovia’s newly opened headquarters, which will host over 80 events, including recitals, chamber music, orchestral concerts, family events, and much more.
This year’s "Mad About Music" runs from September 22 to 27 and serves as the grand finale of the Sinfonia Varsovia – New Opening festival.
