Autumn is the best time to discover Warsaw. The Warsaw Tourist Office invites on the next tour of the project, in which Varsovians present beloved corners of their city.
An idea to present new and unusual tourist attractions by Varsovians was born last year. Through the crowdsourcing „Otwarta Warszawa” ( „Open Warsaw”) platform dozens of ideas of unusual thematic routes were presented. Awarded proposals were realised as electronic brochures with maps and shorts spots with their authors’ participation. The spots have been seen by 45,6 thousand people.
Many hidden gems worth sightseeing are still left and that’s why another 4 films inviting Warsaw inhabitants and tourists to discover the city recesses have been made.
One of these walks was placed in the Warsaw Tour application. In „Varsovians about Warsaw” Saska Kępa district with its city desing and beautiful architercture is presented - this proposal won the last year’s competition.
New spots will appear periodically in Warsaw social media. All thematic routes are available on www.otwartawarszawa.pl/ilovewarsaw
