null Warsaw is ready for Christmas
A 27–meter Christmas tree made of energy–efficient and modern materials has been installed in Zamkowy Square (Castle Square). It is decorated with over 40,000 RGB LED lights.
The Christmas illumination on the Royal Route is there too. The lights also illuminate Świętokrzyska, Długa, Freta, Kościelna, Nowomiejska, Piekarska, Piwna, Podwale, Świętojańska, and Zapiecek streets, as well as the Barbican, the Multimedia Fountain Park, and both the Old Town and New Town squares. To add, entrepreneurs financed the illumination on Nowy Świat Street. Next to the Copernicus monument, you can see Wokulski's decorated shop – part of the set design for the film “Lalka” (The Doll), a feature-length movie produced by Gigant Films and shot in Warsaw. The Christmas lights will be on till February 14, 2026.
You can enjoy free ice rink next to the Palace of Culture and Science, as well as hop on one of the festive vehicles of Warsaw Public Transport - bus, tram and metro train.
