    Summer pedestrian promenade on Krakowskie Przedmieście

    On weekends, Krakowskie Przedmieście Street and a short section of Nowy Świat Street are once again transformed into a pedestrian promenade. Only pedestrians and cyclists are allowed from Miodowa Street to Świętokrzyska Street.

    Restrictions on the sale of alcohol at night from 1 June 2026

    Starting June 1, 2026, a night-time alcohol sales restriction will be in effect throughout Warsaw – from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, alcohol will no longer be available in stores, kiosks, or gas stations.

    Renovation of the tram tracks on Aleje Jerozolimskie

    Renovation of the tram tracks along Aleje Jerozolimskie will begin on the last weekend of May. The rails will be replaced from Starynkiewicza Square to De Gaulle Roundabout and, in sections, on the Poniatowski Bridge viaduct. Five level crossings will be renovated. The work is scheduled for completion in August 2026.
