null Restrictions on the sale of alcohol at night from 1 June 2026
Starting June 1, 2026, a night-time alcohol sales restriction will be in effect throughout Warsaw – from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, alcohol will no longer be available in stores, kiosks, or gas stations.
The restriction applies to all districts of Warsaw, not just selected pilot areas (Śródmieście and Praga-Północ). The aim of the changes is to improve safety and reduce night-time disruptions in the city.
Alcohol will only be available for purchase during the day and evening – until 10:00 PM.
The ban applies to grocery stores, kiosks, gas stations, 24-hour shops, takeaway sales in restaurants, bars, etc. Restaurants, bars, and clubs can still sell alcohol during their opening hours.
