This year Warsaw has put on new tools in tourism enabling to reach a potential tourist. The capital city has become a partner of the ArrivalGuides- a  world toursist leader – what allowed to update the information on our city and and to make it more attractive.

The ArrivalGuides is an internet platform through which a tourist can not only book specific services such as hotel and flight but also get full information on travel destinations.

The virtual guide created for the ArrivalGuides by the Warsaw Tourist Office is available in nine languages: Polish, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. It was divided into 16 sections and topics, presenting differents aspects of the city. The tourist can find some information not only on the best attractions in the TOP 10 bookmark but also regarding interesting places in the Warsaw Praga or on the Vistula River. There are bookmarks dedicated to Frideric Chopin, Maria Skłodowska-Curie and the city curiosities. The guide advises what to do  in Warsaw in winter and when  the tourists come with children. There are also culinary topics, shopping centres  and nightlife attractions.

This year the Warsaw guide has been downloaded over 740 000 times, the most frequently in English. The Warsaw Tourist Office estimates that even if only 5% of the virtual  guide visitors will come to Warsaw the City budget will gain over EUR 13.3 million.

The ArrivalGuide is a virtual guide supplier to over 300 operators all over the world. Their services and topics are used by The Stena Line, Norwegian, Aer Lingus, Eurowings, world touroperators such as Thomas Cook, Ctrip, VISA companies and many more. The ArrivalGuides also provides its customers with video films ( the Arrival TV) thanks to the Smart TV global program. The ArrivalGuides is also available in mobile devices application form.
