Warsaw is ready for Christmas
The Christmas illumination on the Royal Route is there already. The lights also illuminate Świętokrzyska, Długa, Freta, Kościelna, Nowomiejska, Piekarska, Piwna, Podwale, Świętojańska, and Zapiecek streets, as well as the Barbican, the Multimedia Fountain Park, and both the Old Town and New Town squares. To add, entrepreneurs financed the illumination on Nowy Świat Street. Next to the Copernicus monument, you can see Wokulski's decorated shop – part of the set design for the film “Lalka” (The Doll), a feature-length movie produced by Gigant Films and shot in Warsaw.
You can enjoy free ice rink next to the Palace of Culture and Science, as well as hop on one of the festive vehicles of Warsaw Public Transport - bus, tram and metro train.
