The following personalized tickets can be suspended:
- 30-day and 90-day tickets (valid in any fare zone), "Warsaw Resident" tickets, metropolitan tickets, annual tickets for families with three children, and senior tickets.
- 30-day and 90-day tickets (valid in any fare zone), "Warsaw Resident" tickets, and senior tickets – available via the mobiWawa app.
[!] Bearer tickets cannot be suspended.
Rules for suspending the validity of personalized long-term tickets
Visit the website https://zawieswkm.wtp.waw.pl and enter the number of the card on which the ticket is encoded.
Rules:
- Ticket validity may be suspended a maximum of 3 times per calendar year.
- A ticket may be suspended for a minimum of 5 consecutive calendar days.
- A ticket cannot be suspended if its remaining validity period is less than 5 days.
- Ticket suspension is effected based on a request submitted by the passenger via the dedicated website.
- The number of suspension days is calculated from the day the suspension is initiated until the day prior to reactivation; if the ticket is not reactivated or the reactivation request is made after the ticket's expiration date, the period is calculated until the last day of the ticket's validity.
- Any ticket purchased after a suspension request has been submitted is not covered by the suspension of the ticket's validity period.
- A subsequent suspension cannot be processed if a previously suspended ticket has not yet been reactivated.
- The https://zawieswkm.wtp.waw.pl platform is not integrated with the ticketing system, thus submitting a suspension request does not block the card, meaning that ticket validators, metro gates, and ticket inspection devices will continue to display the ticket's original expiration date established at the time of activation.
- Ticket reactivation is processed based on a request submitted via https://zawieswkm.wtp.waw.pl/odwies or in person at a Passenger Service Point. Submitting a reactivation request does not alter the data stored on the card (including the ticket's expiration date).
- Presenting a ticket for inspection during its suspension period results in:
- the passenger being deemed to be traveling or present in the metro fare zone without a valid ticket;
- the loss of the option to encode the unused days of the suspended ticket;
- the loss of the option to claim a refund for the unused days of the suspended ticket.
- Suspended days must be reclaimed within 6 months of the date the ticket reactivation is requested. If no reactivation is requested, or if the request is made after the ticket's original expiration date (established upon activation), the suspended ticket may be re-encoded or refunded within 6 months following the date the suspended ticket would have expired.
- Suspended days can only be reclaimed (encoded) at a Passenger Service Point.
- In the mobiWawa app, tickets are suspended and reactivated directly within the app, without using the website. Simply access the active ticket details and use the "Suspend ticket" or "Reactivate ticket" options. The suspended validity period will be added automatically.
